-Piano Accompanist: Included for string students. If a student chooses to bring their own accompanist or does not require one, €150 will be deducted from the registration fee. This must be communicated via email.
-Free access to all concerts and open masterclasses, including the conducting masterclass.
-Lesson costs are separate (please see below). Venue, staff, and pianist costs are not free and are included here.

-Castle Concerts: In principle, each half-session applicant can perform a 5-minute piece in one castle concert; however, in the event of too many applicants, we will select participants based on ranking according to the quality of the application videos provided.
If you apply for a half session and would like to be considered for a castle performance opportunity, please submit your application by June 30. We need to finalize the castle concert programs by mid-July and begin sending invitations to our guests. If you apply after June 30th, we can still check the situation at that time, but we cannot guarantee any castle concert performance opportunity.
-Class Concerts: Performance opportunities for each professor's studio attended.
-Practice Time: 10 hours of free practice room reservation.
-Piano Accompanist: An additional fee of €150 applies for string students requiring an accompanist. For students who do not pay the full €150 fee but would like to have a pianist for their concert performance, The cost is €50 per performance (5–10 minute piece), including a 30-minute rehearsal, or €30 if performed with a student pianist. String students can also choose to waive the 10 hours of free practice room reservation (which can be booked later if needed) in order to have a piano accompanist included in the registration.

Rates for the House for Music are €13.20 per hour for a grand piano room and €6.60 per hour for an upright room, while rates at the Bechstein Saal are €10 per hour for a grand piano room and €5 per hour for an upright room.
Practice rooms at the Carl Bechstein Saal can be used without a reservation if they are free; however, those with reservations have priority. Other practice rooms, such as those at the House for Music, cannot be used without a reservation. The reception staff records each hour used by students, and we will be charged accordingly.

The online lesson registration fee is €30 for Summer Academy students only. If you are not enrolled in the Summer Academy but wish to apply for online lessons, the cost is €50. An assistant will help set up your session and check connections before your first lesson. This fee covers the first lesson; for each subsequent lesson, there will be an additional administrative cost of €20.

*If a participant is over the age of 16 and enrolled as an active or passive participant, their parents or other accompanying guests may attend all master classes and most student concerts free of charge. Only a few concerts require paid tickets; however, if the student is performing in one of these ticketed concerts, their accompanying guests do not need to pay. Please kindly inform us of the number of accompanying guests at check-in upon arrival.
